At Tempe High School, we are committed to providing a warm and supportive environment for our international students. Approximately 10 international students, from a variety of cultural backgrounds, including Chinese and Vietnamese, enroll each year.
Our school offers the English as an Additional Language/Dialect HSC course for students in Years 11 and 12, and students in Years 7-10 are placed in classes with English language support teachers.
Understanding the unique challenges of studying abroad, we offer guidance and care to help you feel at ease during your time in Australia. From the moment you arrive, you'll be supported by the International Student Coordinator and Community Liaison Officer, who will assist you with your academic journey and help you navigate life in Australia.
At Tempe High School, we believe in fostering wellbeing and creating memorable experiences. That’s why we organise exciting excursions to some of Sydney’s iconic attractions, such as the Easter Show and Luna Park. These outings offer a chance to explore and fully embrace Sydney's vibrant culture.
