Tempe High School has approximately 40 international students enrolled each year, with the majority from Chinese and Vietnamese backgrounds. They are supported by the International Student Coordinator and Community Liaison Officer, who help with day to day enquiries.
Our school offers the English as an Additional Language/Dialect HSC course for students in Year 11 and 12, and students in Year 7-10 are placed in classes with English support teachers.
Each year, the students attend an excursion where they can socialise and enjoy uniquely Australian events. We also have a dedicated classroom, where international students are welcome to spend their recess and lunch times.
