Tempe High School offers two fully selective classes in each year group from 7 to 10, which are specifically designed to provide optimal learning conditions that will make a difference in supporting the development of academic talent and the wellbeing of high potential and gifted students. Only high potential and gifted students can be enrolled in these classes through the selective high school application processes.
Selective Entry to Year 7 in 2026
For entry to Year 7 in 2026, applications open on 7 November 2024 and close on 21 February 2025.
The Selective High School Placement Test will be held between 2 May and 4 May 2025. The test will be computer-based at an independent testing centre.
