The Tempe High School BYOD program requires students in all school grades to bring their own computing device to school each day.
The use of personal laptop devices at school will deepen learning, will be personalised and student-centred, and will meet the expectations of teachers, students, parents and caregivers.
The personal device must be able to be brought to school every school day and be used solely by the student throughout the school day.
Students and Parents are responsible for ensuring the device brought to school meets all requirements of Device Specifications. A device that does not meet the specifications will not be permitted access to school networks and services.
Prior to bringing a personal device for the first time, students and their parents must read the THS Digital devices and online services procedures and sign the BYOD User Agreement which sets out the responsibilities and expectations for use of the personal device at Tempe High School.
Students must then use their device in accordance with Tempe High School's BYOD Policy and BYOD User Agreement.
