SRC Excursion - Fort Street HS Future Leaders Conference

Description: The conferencewas created by Fort Street High School SRC to inspire young leaders in public high schools across Greater Sydney, with over 300 students from 35 different schools attending last year. The theme for 2025 is "\;LeadingThrough Adversity"\;, focusing on the diverse ranges of challenges that leaders have faced in the past, and will continue to face in the future, in an ever changing global landscape, navigating social, economic and environmental issues with resilience through hardship. The conference aims to empower young leaders to be creative in leadership and life, to bounce back from challenges faced, and continue working towards positive change.The event will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Fort Street High School,Petersham. Please note this event runs during the school day. Catering will be provided during the event. The day will run in 3 sessions, with keynote speakers, a panel discussion + Q&\;A, a leadership workshop, with morning tea and lunch breaks.Students from year 11 and 12 have been chosen as students will NOT be accompanied by a teacher from Tempe High School, supervision will be provided by staff from Fort Street High School.
