Year 12 English Standard & Advanced - The Crucible Symposium

On June 13th 2025, Year 12 students from Tempe High School will attend a symposium on the prescribed text for both English Standard and Advanced, The Crucible by Arthur Miller. The symposium is held at the Seymour Centre.

Thesymposium will feature performances of key scenes from The Crucible as well as critical commentary around the text, the characters, the context and its role and power as the prescribed text in their HSC Common Module.

Attendance of this excursionwill play a monumental role in a studentsunderstanding of the Common Module and The Crucible and a great opportunity for students to expand the scope of their appreciation and understanding of the text.

Participants: All Year 12 students.
